Compassionate end-of-life care at home for your pets
Meet Dr. Michelle Burch
Dr. Michelle Burch has dedicated her career to providing compassionate veterinary care while supporting her family's journey around the world during her husband Joe's service in the United States Navy. After years of traveling, she is proud to call South Carolina's Lowcountry home.
Through her experiences caring for animals and supporting families during life's most difficult moments, Dr. Burch discovered a deep passion for helping pets experience a peaceful, dignified passing in the comfort of their own homes. That passion led her to establish Coastal Comfort Veterinary Care.
Coastal Comfort Veterinary Care was founded with a simple but meaningful mission: to provide families with the opportunity to say goodbye to their beloved companions in a familiar, loving environment. Rather than experiencing the stress of traveling to a veterinary clinic, pets can remain where they feel safest—surrounded by the people, sights, sounds, and comforts they know best.
An in-home setting often allows dogs and cats to remain more relaxed, creating a calmer, more peaceful experience for both pets and their families. Dr. Burch is committed to providing compassionate guidance, gentle care, and unwavering support during one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner will ever face, ensuring every family can focus on what matters most: sharing a loving and meaningful farewell.
